The fourth event of the Midwifery and Global Maternal Health Webinar series
Abstract
From participant-led discussion to self-administered health checks, the combination of antenatal education, clinical care and peer support - group antenatal care redefines antenatal care.
Join us as we hear from midwives with experiences facilitating group care in the US, the UK and Brazil.
In this webinar, we will provide an overview of the group care model, hear about the challenges and opportunities that it brings and discuss what it means to both midwives and the women and birthing people who take part.
This webinar may be of interest to anyone wanting to know more about implementation, midwifery-led care, relational care, women's groups and peer support during the perinatal period.
The Midwifery and Global Maternal Health webinar series are developed to supplement studies in midwifery and global maternal health, stimulate conversation and gather in a community of learning.
We invite both graduate and undergraduate students in both midwifery and global maternal health in addition to any other students and staff members who are interested in the topics.
Attendance at City events is subject to our terms and conditions.
