Are you an experienced group care facilitator in the UK? Would you like to be able to train others? Then this free half-day training workshop is for you.
It is open to all midwives and health visitors who have experience of facilitating Pregnancy Circles in the UK.
Numbers are limited (15 per session) so register early!
How to become a certified trainer?
Step 1
Attend one of the 4-hour online workshops facilitated by Jalana Lazar and Octavia Wiseman. Refresh your facilitating skills, learn how to plan a training session, and explore how to support the implementation of Circles in new areas:
on Wednesday, 15th February - 17.00-21.00
Step 2
Sign up to co-facilitate a 1-day face-to-face group facilitation training alongside an experienced trainer to consolidate your skills.
There will be a range of opportunities to do this both in and outside of London and you will be able to sign up for these on the day of your online training.
We cannot pay for your time, but we can reimburse reasonable travel expenses. We may also be able to support a facilitation training event in your Trust - let us know!
The following dates have been confirmed so far:
(a) Thursday, 16th February - 9.30-16.30, City, University of London
(b) Wednesday, 3rd May - 9.30-16.30, City, University of London
Once you have completed both steps you will receive your certificate as an in-country peer trainer, certified by REACH, GC_1000 and Group Care Global, and will be able to facilitate group care training independently.
Note: if you are unable to attend, please let us know so that we can release your place to somebody else as there will be a waiting list. If you have any questions, contact octavia.wiseman@city.ac.uk.

Attendance at City events is subject to our terms and conditions.
