The London Universities Maritime Law and Policy Research Group (LUMLPG) provides a network of mutual support and a forum for the exchange and promotion of ideas and information on maritime law and policy. In this vein, the LUMLPG will hold its 13th annual place on Friday, 21st April 2023.
The conference brings together academics, postgraduate researchers, practitioners and other industry professionals to present their research, areas of work, and opinions. This is an opportunity to engage with an informed audience from various parts of the maritime sector.
This year’s conference will take place at the new City Law School. The venue address is TLG11, The City Law School, Sebastian St, London EC1V 7HD.
Abstract Submissions
Submissions in all areas of Maritime Law and Policy, including relevant interdisciplinary work, are very welcome.
Intending speakers should prepare an abstract (250 words) in Word and send it to Mr Mustafa Yilmaz (Mustafa.Yilmaz@city.ac.uk). All submissions must include your institution, a contact address, an email address and a contact phone number. Each speaker will present their research ideas or papers for 10 minutes and a 5 minute discussion will follow. Abstracts are invited from academics, industry professionals and students (Masters or PhD) alike.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, 3 March 2023.
