Here you can find all the necessary information related to abstract, paper and presentation submission for the conference. Please check the schedule for the submission deadlines.
Please register and submit your abstract using the NICFD2022 conftool website.
Abstract submissions are to be submitted via the online form and should not exceed 400 words. Abstracts should briefly outline the main research issues, research method, results, and conclusions as well as their general significance to the field of NICFD flows.
Draft paper submission
Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit a full paper for consideration for presentation at the conference by the scientific committee.
The paper should detail the scope of the research, the main research issues, the methods employed, the results and conclusions. The general significance of the work to the NICFD field should also be demonstrated and linked to existing work through suitable references.
The paper should not exceed 6 pages in length, including images and bibliographical references. Papers should be uploaded as a single PDF document and submitted via the NICFD2022 conftool website.
The Word and LaTeX templates for the draft paper are available for download.
Final paper submission
Following the reviews and feedback from the scientific committee, authors will be invited to submit a final revised version of their paper via the NICFD2022 conftool website.
Authors of the accepted papers will be invited to submit their paper for publication within the ERCOFTAC Book Series by Springer.
Presentation, submission and guidelines
Each presentation slot will last for 20 minutes. Therefore, please prepare presentations to last for approximately 15 minutes to allow 5 minutes for Q&A.
Please note that due to not receiving enough questions for all papers there is no formal requirement to address specific reviewer comments in your presentation. However, whilst preparing your presentation you may wish to be mindful of any questions that were raised as they may still come up during the Q&A.
Presentations should be submitted to the conference organisers via the conference email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and should be sent no later than Sunday 30th October 2022. Please note that due to security restrictions on campus it will not be possible to upload presentations on the day via flash drives.
