The aim of this workshop is to introduce the participants to a relational perspective on organisational innovation and individual creativity. Based on recent findings within the Hollywood film industry as well as network theories we will illustrate some recurring patterns in the way individual (collaborative relationships) as well as organisational (interfirm alliances) networks affect creativity and innovation. Understanding the meaning and role of networks can improve managerial decisions and assist efforts to promote intra-organisational as well as interfirm collaboration. Digital transformation in the world of museums - Prof. Stefan Haefliger, Professor of Strategic Management at Bayes Business School & Monica Varriale, Chief Operating & Financial Officer at The Serpentine Galleries
We discuss the prerequisites and starting points for digital transformation in the world’s greatest museums. The pandemic created a shock and kick-start to digital transformation in organizations that might otherwise not have tackled their digital hesitation with the vigor we observed. We study the world’s top museums and how they have accomplished the step of elevating the maturity of their organizations in this period.
This is a discussion that blends practice and academic thinking: we approach the idea of organizational maturity as a prerequisite for design thinking in cases of museums in digital transformation. What can we learn from museums and what do we know about these concepts more broadly? Case studies include the V&A London, Fondation Beyeler Switzerland, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art Denmark, and others.
We invite the audience for discussion and sharing of their experiences around the idea of organizational maturity.

"Platforms vs. Creators: Who will web3 favor?" moderated by Dr Nettra Pan, Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Bayes Business School
Panellists:
- Paola Vivoli, Speedinvest VC
- Caspar Lee, founder and CEO at Influencer
Alex Winterbotham, co-founder and CEO at Echobubbles
Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Twitter became media giants without an in-house media production team thanks to technological developments that allowed users and amateurs to share their own content. And yet, despite their meteoric success, winner-takes-all dynamics have meant platforms remain the key winner of this industrial era. However, 2021 saw a rise in blockchain platforms allowing users to better own (and be compensated for) their digital assets, opening the door to new online experiences in "the metaverse" and changing the dynamics of how we experience and make money on the internet today. To help us make sense of the shifting tides, Paola Vivoli, associate at Speedinvest, co-author of the latest report on the creator economy published by Antler VC; Caspar Lee: YouTuber and entrepreneur; and Alex Winterbotham: Co founder of echobubbles will join a discussion moderated by Dr. Nettra Pan, Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Purpose-driven Innovation.

Managing your supply chain risk - Dr Florian Lücker, Senior Lecturer Supply Chain Management at Bayes Business School & Andrew Farnhill, Business Developer, LiquidX
COVID-19 has disrupted the flow of materials, information, and funds in supply chains in many industry sectors. Lockdowns caused disruptions in the flow of material and information resulting in sharp demand declines as well as supply shortages. Fund flows were disrupted when firms refused to offer trade credit to their customers, resulting in sudden increases in working capital needs for many firms. Despite these disruptions, some companies managed their supply chains through the pandemic successfully.
In this Talk we want to discuss why some firms’ supply chains managed to thrive during the pandemic and others did not even survive. We will highlight the role of shared resources that enable small and large firms to achieve resilience and cost-efficiency in the supply chain at the same time.
This Talk is for anyone interested in building more resilience towards external disruption in company operations while keeping costs under control.
