Journalists are at the frontline of breaking news, disasters, and human suffering and the realities of their exposure to trauma have been well documented. Yet, traditional approaches for equipping journalists with tools for working in the field have been limited to physical protection, rather than helping with their emotions, values, and thoughts.
This event aims to bring more awareness to mental health in journalism. It will provide practical guidance and coping strategies, focusing on bridging psychological approaches with the realities that journalists face in their daily lives.
