Hosted by Prof Abdulnaser Sayma, Head of the Department of Engineering at City, University of London, this event will feature an expert panel discussion on the topic of energy price rises and the effects on 2050 net zero targets. The event will include a talk by Dr Jafar Al-Zaili, Lecturer in Power and Propulsion at the City, who will discuss City’s energy research projects, followed by a talk about ‘Electrification of transport’ by Alan Nettleton, Transport Planning Professional and Chartered Engineer.
The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A moderated by Prof David Stupples, Professor of Electronic & Radio Engineering at City, where you are invited to pose your own questions and share your views.
This event will give participants an excellent opportunity to engage in expert talks and thought-provoking conversation about the energy sector with fellow alumni, students and academics.
