About This Seminar
This seminar is organized by CECCA and supported by City, University of London and various institutions. The theme is ‘Practical and Legal Insights into Carriage of Goods by Sea’.
The CECCA Seminars Maritime Series No.2 focuses on the practical and legal insights into carriage of goods by sea. Carriage of goods by sea is a significant part of international trade. While shipping lawyers and academics are well-equipped with legal knowledge, some practical insights are not always accessible. Bearing this in mind, CECCA have invited three experts who work in the shipping industry to share some insights that they gain from daily work. The following three aspects in carriage of goods by sea will be discussed in this seminar, namely, carriage of perishable cargo, carriage of livestock and package limitation of Containerized Bulky Cargo.
