Students from City’s Major Event Management short course are once again giving the chance to attend as leading international event practitioners come together for a discussion of the effects of Covid-19 on their industry.
After a year which saw national lockdowns and major events like the Olympics and Glastonbury being postponed or cancelled, event organisations all around the world are looking for ways to move forward.
Now we are bringing together event managers from different countries and different sectors of the industry to compare their experiences and share their ideas and hopes for the future with City's event management students.
The full list of speakers will be announced later. We hope to have highly experienced event professionals from Greece, the Czech Republic, Lebanon, and several other countries, in addition to home-grown experts from the UK, of course.
Previous webinars in this series have featured guests ranging from Stormzy’s tour manager and the Operations Manager of the O2, to members of the event teams at the National Museum of Wales and the UK Government Cabinet Office.
