Rachel’s PhD research draws on the work of Paul Otlet, Suzanne Briet and Michael Buckland to consider how objects can be defined as documents in the context of fashion, and the broader need for fashion collections and documents.
Since we are now in a digital age, she is exploring online fashion collections, documents, and exhibitions. Rachel will also share her emerging area of investigation into the information behaviour of fashion students.
