Yes, only those who RSVP will be allocated a place at the Rector's Dinner.
What is the dress code?
Black tie with decorations.
Decorations and orders: It is usual practice for military, civil, and organisational decorations and orders to be worn to full dress events of State or other sovereign organisations.

The Mansion House is a rare surviving Georgian town palace in London. It continues to fulfil its originally intended function, to enable the Lord Mayor of the City of London to represent the City in appropriate style. With its magnificent interiors and elegant furniture, The Mansion House provides the Lord Mayor of the City of London with a living, working and entertainment space.
It is a symbol of the City of London as the world's leading international financial and trading centre.
How do I get there?
The Mansion House is in the heart of the City of London surrounded by Poultry, Threadneedle Street, Lombard Street, King William Street and Queen Victoria Street.

Guests should enter through entrance A, shown on the map (PDF).
What time is the event? When will it close?
The event begins at 7pm. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by City staff who will direct them to cloakrooms and registration. Guests will then proceed to a drinks reception. All guests will receive a full seating plan on arrival.
Dinner is called at 7:30pm. After dinner, guests are invited to partake in a Stirrup Cup (a parting drink) in the Salon before the event closes at 10:30pm.
