Staff and funding

Principal investigator: Prof Neil Maiden Research staff: Sharon Manning
Total funding: £62,000
Funding source: National Air Traffic Services
Duration: February 2003 until December 2003

Project description

This project builds on the success of RESCUE and applies the process again, this time to determine requirements for Eurocontrol's Departure Manager system. We are collaborating with NATS to determine the operational requirements. Our role is two-fold:

  • Training and supporting NATS staff to use the RESCUE process;

  • Involvement in workshop and walkthrough facilitation activities, and implementing Quality Gatekeeper controls on the requirements specification as it is developed.
