PhD Research Student
Gilang is currently pursuing his Doctoral Degree at City, University of London. He holds a Master's Degree in Media Design from Keio University in Tokyo, and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto. With a strong background in User Interface and Experience Design, he also spent an immersive residency in three leading centres of design and innovation: Keio Media Design in Tokyo, Pratt Institute in New York, and Royal College of Art + Imperial College in London, as part of Global Innovation Design program. He has worked as a front-end developer and UI/UX designer at several startups in Tokyo.
His current research focuses on supporting interpersonal emotion regulation with technology.
