Funded Research Projects
Dr Enrico Bonadio and Dr Luke McDonagh were awarded funding (€100,000) under the EU Horizon INBOTS project (2018-20), which investigates the intellectual property implications of the robotics industry.
Dr Luke McDonagh and Dr Enrico Bonadio were awarded a grant of £10,000 by the British Embassy (FCO) to deepen City's institutional links with the University of La Havana, Cuba.
Dr Enrico Bonadio and Dr Luke McDonagh have also been granted funds (totalling £30,000) from the UK Government under the Global Challenge Research Fund (GCRF) to conduct the research project "Achieving Synergy between Intellectual Property, University Innovation and Social Enterprise in the UK, Mexico and Cuba".
Together with Professor Elaine Fahey, Professor David Collins and Anthony Rogers, Dr Luke Mcdonagh and Dr Enrico Bonadio have been awarded funding for their project titled “TRILATTRADE: UK-EU-Japan Trade Relations: Modelling Trade, Regulation and IP.” The project addresses these core pillars with three interlocking thematic strands:

- UK-EU-Japan Regulatory Cooperation and Data Flows
- UK-EU-Japan Intellectual Property
