Antitrust in a Global Context

This module begins with an examination of the historical origins of antitrust law; the dominance of the US case law on the initial development of competition law and provides a comparative analysis between EU and US competition law. It then moves on to look at competition in a broader global context examining the relationship between the WTO and competition law concepts and the role of the WTO in competition law. The module then goes on to consider the application of competition law in a multi-jurisdictional context.
