International Criminal Law 1 – Institutions and Structures

This module presents and critically analyses the institutional aspects of international criminal law. Throughout the course students will familiarise themselves with the practice of states and international criminal courts and tribunals and thoroughly analyse the evolution and structure of international criminal law institutions.

The module aims to develop deep knowledge and critical understanding on the development, content and future of international criminal law and the role of the actors involved (states, institutions and non-state actors).
