Free Legal Advice Service

The City Law School is offering free, confidential and independent legal advice sessions on civil law matters to the local community.  Students will work with qualified lawyers to provide guidance on issues such as:

  • Civil law (including personal injury claims)
  • Employment
  • Landlord and tenant disputes
  • Consumer rights
  • Small claims.

The Service does not include immigration. The matter should not be too complex and no court proceeding should have been issued.

Clients will receive a one-off piece of preliminary written or verbal advice. Sessions are led by qualified lawyers, who are supported by postgraduate law students.

Appointments can be booked by calling The City Law School office from 9am until 5pm on:

Sessions will take place at The City Law School, 2-10 Princeton Street, WC1R 4BH, near Chancery Lane tube station.

The City Law School also offers day sessions taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday (term-time only). They are conducted by postgraduate law students supervised by qualified lawyers.
