Placement and Mentor of the Year Awards
The Placement of the Year and Mentor of the Year Awards are given each year to practice placement areas and mentors for excellence in supporting their students' learning whilst on placement.
Students who have had an excellent placement experience, or an exceptional mentor/sign-off mentor are encouraged to nominate them for the Placement of the Year Award and Mentor of the Year Award. Nominations are open to students throughout the year on completion of their placement evaluations.
Students may submit up to two nominations, providing they nominate a different placement each time. Information about the criteria against which students need to judge placement areas is detailed on the nomination form.
Nominations are judged by a panel with winners will be announced at the School of Health Sciences Prize Giving ceremony which is an annual event.
