At City, University of London, and within the School of Health Sciences, we are committed to providing financial support to students who show academic and clinical excellence. All students who have been offered a place to study with us, and who meet the scholarship criteria, are welcome to apply for our generous scholarships.
There are up to 12 Dean's Scholarships of £1,500 available for students applying for any of our MSc programmes and up to 10 Dean’s scholarships of £1000 available for those applying to study on the MSc Health Psychology/Psychology and Health programmes. The Dean’s Scholarships will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate academic and clinical excellence in their application for the Scholarship. All home and EU are welcome to apply. The deadline for September applicants is 27 August 2018 at 17.00 BST.
Dean's Scholarship for Academic Excellence
There are up to 5 Deans Scholarships of £2000 available for academically outstanding students who are currently studying on an undergraduate Programme in the School of Health Sciences and who wish to progress onto a Master’s Programme. The scholarship will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate academic excellence. The deadline for September applicants is 27 August 2018 at 17.00 BST.
Dean's Bursary for Professional Advancement
A number of Bursaries of £1,000, £2,000 or £3,000 are available for students applying to study on any of our Masters Programmes. The Dean’s Bursary for Professional Advancement will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate commitment to professional advancement but who would find it difficult to undertake postgraduate studies without some additional financial support. The deadline for September applicants is 27 August 2018 at 17.00 BST.
MSc Conversion - Research Methods module
All students at City, University of London, who are studying on Postgraduate. Diploma courses in Speech and Language Therapy, Nursing, Radiography and Public Health and who would like to continue their study with one of the four MSc research modules offered by the School of Health Sciences are eligible for 50% off the module fee. This applies to both online and classroom-based modules. To make enquiries about this you should contact the Postgraduate Administration team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
SHS International Excellence Scholarships (IES)
A number of International Excellence Scholarships (IES) of either £1,000, £2,000 or £3,000 are available for international students applying to study on any of our Masters programmes. The IES will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate academic and clinical/professional excellence. All international post-graduate students are welcome to apply. The deadline for September applicants is 27 August 2018 at 17.00 BST.
Postgraduate Pre-registration Scholarship
A new postgraduate pre-registration scholarship is available to students applying for a postgraduate pre-registration course in Nursing or Speech and Language Therapy in 2018.
Offered across Adult, Child, Mental health and the combined Adult and Mental Health Nursing programmes as well as Speech and Language Therapy, the £4,450 scholarship is available for those who demonstrate either clinical or academic excellence.
City Graduate Loyalty Discount
The City Graduate Loyalty Discount is available to all graduates who have successfully completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or a period of study as a Study Abroad Student at City, University of London. All such students who wish to progress to a different postgraduate taught or research degree at City are eligible for our Graduate Loyalty Discount of 10% on their tuition fees. Students within the School of Health Sciences will receive this discount alongside any other scholarship that they are awarded.
