XXVI Conference of the International Association of Empirical Aesthetics

Dear IAEA friends,

We hope you are all remaining safe and well in these difficult times.

Together with the IAEA Board of Directors, we have agreed to postpone the IAEA congress meeting to September 2021 in London. We trust that by then the global pandemic will no longer be part of our daily lives and will not impact travels and conferences anymore. This decision was taken in the interest of all and serves the safety and good health of all speakers and IAEA members.

We would like to thank you all for the wonderful abstract and symposia that were submitted these past weeks. Your submissions remain valid for the new date, but we will also open another call for abstract submission early 2021 -you will be able to amend your submission. We will refund straight away all paid conference registration.

Finally, thank you very much for your understanding. We were looking forward to hosting you in London this September. We will ensure to create a memorable IAEA in 2021.

IAEA congress will take place in London September 2021 hosted by Beatriz Calvo Merino (City, University of London), Guido Orgs and Rebecca Chamberlain (Goldsmiths, University of London).

We look forward to an inspiring meeting for scientists and artists alike, to share their latest ideas and works. Over four days, the conference will feature talks, symposia, poster sessions and social events to showcase empirical aesthetics research from diverse angles.

Additional social events beyond the scientific programme will explore the rich art scene in London. More exciting announcements soon!

Important dates and deadlines

New dates for Poster/Symposia submission and Registration will be announced in the Autumn.
