As part of Welcome Week, five of City’s recent graduates will tell their unpublished stories for the first time to a live audience. With the help of actors, their interviewees and different media, they’ll relate tales on topics ranging from space law, compassionate fashion, life and death decisions in the NHS and surviving child abuse.
It showcases creative work from our journalism students using diverse forms of storytelling. It’s also the second show from the News on Stage research project, a joint project between City’s journalism department and Nottingham Trent University, which is investigating the power of journalism, theatre and the public sphere, More details about the project and our previous show Unrelated Stories here: https://newsonstage964645559.wordpress.com/
We’d love to have your interaction, so please unmute during the webinar performance so that we can hear the audience, ask questions to our journalists, take part in polling and feel free to join in the discussion in the virtual News Café afterwards. Or just watch!
