Lee Fraser (born 1981) is a British composer active in the field of electroacoustic music. He has a PhD in electroacoustic composition from the University of Manchester. Prior to this, he studied with Frank Denyer at Dartington College of Arts and Denis Smalley at City University London. His music is characterised by its concern with synthetic sound and complex auditory experiences. In addition to his fixed media work, Fraser regularly performs live, both solo and in collaboration with other artists. Recent concert and festival appearances include: Sentralen, Oslo (2018); Cut & Splice, Manchester (2017); Darmstadt International Summer Course for New Music, Darmstadt (2016); and LUFF, Lausanne (2016). His work has received numerous awards and acknowledgments, including the Luigi Russolo Grand Prize 2013, and he has been commissioned by the BBC, Distractfold and Ensemble Adapter.

Paul Obermayer (born 1964) is a composer and performer best known for live electronic music. He has worked in the pioneering electronic duo FURT with Richard Barrett since 1986, in the electro-acoustic trio BARK! (with Rex Casswell and Phillip Marks) since 1999, and has been a regular member of the Evan Parker Electro-Acoustic Ensemble since 2003, as well as playing in other collaborations. Other projects include instrumental compositions, music for installations and film, and the extended FURT ensemble fORCH. His work has been performed and broadcast internationally, and is documented on over 20 CDs. Recent music includes the solo piano composition skeleton, concerts with the Evan Parker Ensemble, a new live CD release by BARK!, various ongoing FURT projects, and the “tape” works presented here.

John Wall (born 1950) is an autodidact electronic composer whose contribution to the field is widely noted by critics of new music. His work has moved from early plunderphonic compositions – where he brought together unlikely combinations of musical genres to create fantastical new works – to large scale works composed of thousands of tiny fragments. Critics have remarked on “his extraordinary feeling for musical narrative” which is achieved through a working method that has been described as “phenomenally painstaking”. According to one critic, Wall’s “releases sound like the most finely crafted audio sculptures, somewhere between the contemporary composition of Lachenmann and the experiments of early laptop musicians of the mid-90s.”
