This event will be a webinar held on Zoom

The Centre for Maternal and Child Health Research at the School of Health Science, City, University of London welcomes you to our next research seminar.

This presentation will provide a summary of the Collaboration in Pregnancy and Early years project (COPE). The project started in 2013 and has to date focused on the transfer of care between midwives and health visitors. After our systematic review was published in 2016 (Aquino et al, 2016) our work has primarily focused on using qualitative methods to understand midwives’ and health visitors’ experiences of collaboration as well as postnatal women’s views on their transfer of care. The main themes identified from these different studies will be presented and implications for delivering the health visiting antenatal contact, community hubs and postnatal transfer of care will be discussed. Practical implications for midwifery and health visiting education will also be shared.

Presenter: Dr Ellinor Olander

We invite you to bring your own lunch and refreshments to the zoom
