Event Series:
City-ESS HQ-NatCen survey methodology seminar series

This seminar reports findings on the effects of different protocols for implementing mobile app-based data collection, from two studies that used mobile apps to collect data about spending. The studies included experiments with respondent incentives, the mode with which respondents were invited to download and use the app, and personalized respondent feedback, as well as a browser-based alternative offered to those who did not use the app.

Annette Jäckle is a Professor of Survey Methodology at the Institute for Social and Economic Research at the University of Essex and Associate Director of Innovations for the Understanding Society household panel survey.
