Hear several of our undergraduate pianists perform classics from the romantic repertoire and contemporary work, in the first in this year's series of lunchtime and evening recitals showcasing the talents of City's performance students.
Free to attend; all welcome.
Performance is an integral part of music-making at City, with students opting to receive one-to-one tuition from our roster of outstanding vocal and instrumental teachers, besides taking part in our choir, orchestra and other ensembles, engaging with a broad range of Western classical music, jazz, improvisation, experimental and live electronic music, and the musics of Southeast Asia and Africa.
This concert has been programmed by the Department of Music's Performance Committee, led by City's scholarship performers. Further events in the 2019-20 season will include an evening of musical theatre and concerts highlighting the work of female composers.
