Summary:

Is there a future for human rights in the era of Trump and Brexit? The post-crisis policies of austerity, coupled with the electoral rise of populist leaders, and the EU’s management of the refugee crisis in the Mediterranean have posed novel challenges for the most vulnerable groups. Moreover, the application of new technologies presents both challenges and opportunities for human rights advocates.
