George Barton & Siwan Rhys (GBSR Duo) are developing a national reputation for exceptional performances of the existing piano-percussion repertoire, well-chosen commissions and committed performances of new works. Selected for the St John’s Smith Square young artist scheme in 2018, the duo has performed new work on BBC Radio’s Arts Hour, Open Ear and In Tune, and were featured artists at the 2019 Hartley Residency, University of Southampton. This year also sees their Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival and Presteigne Festival debuts, as well as their release of their new recording of Stockhausen’s Kontakte on the all that dust label.
Nicholas Moroz's piece Intralatent is supported by the Hinrichsen Foundation, PRS Foundation’s The Open Fund, and using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
CHAINES's piece so smol is supported by the RVW Trust.
