20 years on from Trainspotting, Danny Boyle reunited with the cast of his film about heroin users to develop a story about what has become of the characters. How they have changed, from drug use and offending behaviour to aspirations and family connections. Under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 the School of Health Sciences film Club at City, University of London shows films free of charge to students, lecturers and others persons connected with learning about health and social care. This screening of a 2017 film follows on from watching Trainspotting on Monday 19th November in a sequence of films shown in the film club. The film will be shown in the context of a discussion about films and health and specifically about the health related topics shown in the film.
