Series: International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.

City’s LGBT+ Network is hosting an event on Thursday May 17th for International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.

The global theme for IDAHOBIT in 2018 is ‘Alliances for Solidarity’. There will be a panel discussion at the event in line with this theme.

The panelists include:
Alex Powell: City, University of London
Max Morris: Durham University
Sahra Taylor: City, University of London
Philip Wragg: Positive East

12.00-12.15 Arrivals & setting up of cakes (coffee, tea and sandwiches are also available)
12.15-12.45 Introduction to IDAHOBIT and Panel Discussion
12.45-13.15 Q&A
13.15-13.45 Bake Off Competition and voting for winner
13.45-14.00 Close and Announcement of winner

There will be a ‘Bake Off’ Competition in which all at City are welcome to bring their ‘baking’ and attendees will be able to vote on a winner. The ‘best bake’ will win a prize and all money will be donated to charity so please do not forget to bring cash.
