City of London Javascript Emerging Conference

CityJSConf is a one day conference, a joint event from the London's JavaScript meetups, including London JS Community, JS Monthly, Halfstack  and with support from City, University of London

This is a fantastic opportunity for those meetups that bring great speakers from London and the rest of UK and the world to come together to share their collective knowledge about modern JavaScript development.

The day will include a  debate between Kyle Simpson and Dylan Schiemann on the merits of Strong and Weak typing in JavaScript moderated by Luca Mezallira. One of the biggest strengths and weaknesses, pun intended, is the weakly typed nature of JavaScript. In this debate, we’ll consider the value and benefits of adding development time type systems such as TypeScript vs. limitations they may impose.

This is a non-profit event with all money from tickets and sponsorship going towards the event to make the day as enjoyable as possible for the community. With 11 speakers and 160 attendees, we also expect to have time for everyone to have the opportunity to chat and meet each other.

For more information on speakers and to purchase tickets VISIT THE CONFERENCE WEBPAGE

There are a limited number of free tickets available to City students studying in this area. If you are a City student please email and you will be sent the appropriate details.
