After an inpatient stay, a former teacher with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder moves back in with his parents and tries to reconcile with his ex-wife. Things get more challenging when he meets a mysterious woman with problems of her own.
The film is directed and screen-written by David O Russell, whose own son has bipolar disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder.
This screening is for an educational audience of staff, students and other persons directly connected with the activities of the School of Health Sciences, City, University of London.
The discussant for the film will be Ben Murphy, nurse lecturer in biosciences. After the film he will lead the discussion on the health topics in the film.
