Symposium on Temporary Works and Construction Method Engineering
This event has been postponed.
The Centre of Excellence in Temporary Works and Construction Method Engineering at City, University of London will host this two day symposium as part of the activities of the Centre which has been supported by the Temporary works forum since 2015. All and any aspects of temporary works design, detailing and construction will be presented and discussed in a friendly, relaxed and informal setting. Presentations will be short and focused to ensure maximum opportunity for stimulating discussion both within the sessions and in the refreshment break periods. All delegates are encouraged to present their work to enable as many other delegates as possible to benefit from our collective experience.
Discussion will cover all aspects of temporary works and construction method engineering with a particular aim of addressing recent developments and innovative solutions and techniques, case studies, design and construction problems.
Attendance at the Symposium is primarily by invitation and is open to delegates from organisations that are members of the Temporary Works forum. There will be no formal papers but delegates are asked to provide a short summary of their work. This will facilitate the organisation of relevant discussion sessions.
Information on the programme of discussion sessions will be posted on the web site, as it becomes available.
