We have teamed up with Colgate-Palmolive and Tesco to bring you the second edition of the Cass Marketing Innovathon.

What is the challenge this year?

To develop a full marketing campaign for Colgate-Palmolive UK, leveraging the breadth of Tesco’s digital ecosystem! We invite you to join us at Tesco’s Lever Building at Farringdon for 1.5 days full of marketing ideas, innovation, and hands-on advice from our ‘industry experts’. With the help of mentors from Colgate-Palmolive and Tesco, and Cass Marketing Faculty, you will develop a campaign to “Keep Britain Smiling”.

Who is the challenge for?

We are looking for talented, innovative and motivated students who want to compete for the chance to develop a campaign idea from scratch, pitch it to the brand team at Colgate-Palmolive, and see it rolled out in the UK! Whether you are a current MSc, BSc, or MBA student, if you like to brush your teeth and are passionate about marketing, we want to hear from you!

What happens, where, and when?

Friday 17th of Match: 12.30-18.00 – Tesco’s office near Farringdon
Kick-off, keynote presentations, introduction to the challenge, meet your team, start working

Saturday 18th of March: 08.30-18.00 – Tesco’s office near Farringdon
Keynote presentations, build your campaign, X-Factor audition-style pitches to get initial feedback, prepare your final pitch

Saturday: 17:00-18.00
Final pitches, winners are announced, celebratory drinks

Refreshments and food will be provided throughout the event.

The winning team will pitch their campaign idea to the marketing and sales teams at Colgate-Palmolive and Tesco. If they decide to put it into practice, you will be included as much as possible into rolling out the campaign.

The winning team will also get a “London experience” prize…you have to win to find out what exactly that is!

How to apply

Places are limited. To apply, simply complete the short application form on this site by Friday 3rd of March. No late application will be accepted.

You will be informed by Monday 6th of March if your application has been successful. On that day, you will also receive all the background information you need to be prepared.
