Panel Discussions

Public, Staff, Students, Alumni, Prospective Postgraduates, Prospective Undergraduates, Academics

The SHS Film club is an award winning initiative in which we screen films featuring health topics and discuss the way these topics are portrayed. Our film screening for December is 'Pride', a 2014 drama about U.K. gay activists working to help miners during the lengthy National Union of Mineworkers strike in the summer of 1984.

There will be a panel discussion about the health topics raised in the film with Dr. Chris Flood. Chris is a lecturer in City, UoL Division of Nursing and has been invited as an expert on how groups can work for political change.

The event is free and open to all staff, students, potential students and persons directly connected with the activities of City, University of London.
