The SHS Film club is an award winning initiative in which we screen films which feature health topics and then discuss the way these topics are featured. Our film screening for August is One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, a 1975 film based on Ken Kesey's seminal novel. The film has a British Board of Film Classification of 18.
There will be a panel discussion about the health topics in the film, including the history of incarceration of the mentally ill and the stigma of stammering.
The event is free and open to all staff, students, potential students and persons directly connected with the activities of City, University of London
