As part of Open House weekend, City will be throwing open the doors to the College Building on St John Street. This Grade II listed building was constructed in 1896 in the Arts and Crafts style by Edward Mountford, who later went on to design the Old Bailey. Discover the prominent role it’s played in Islington life since then, from hosting events for the 1908 London Olympics to supporting the war effort in WW1.
Saturday 17th September only, 10am – 5pm. Access via accompanied tour. Tours on the half hour. Refreshments available. Family fun sheets for younger visitors.
