Robert has spent over 34 years advising major energy, power and mining companies on how to manage their risk exposures. He has lectured extensively within the insurance, legal and energy communities, written many technical insurance papers and co-authored various insurance teaching publications. Robert is a committee member of both the UK World Petroleum Council (WPC) and of ARIAS (UK), a qualified and experienced mediator and acts as an Expert Witness.

Chair: Professor Jason Chuah

Jason is Head of the Academic Law Department. He has held scholarships from Barclays Bank and the UK Overseas Development Authority at St Johns College, Cambridge University.He has been on the World Intellectual Property Organisation's list of specialist speakers in e-commerce, and was a speaker for the International Securities Markets Association training courses. Jason has also  been nominated three times for the Oxford University Press Award for Best Law Teacher of the Year, and has has been involved in various consultations with the Ministry of Justice, the OECD, the ICC, the Association of British Insurers, the UNCITRAL, etc.
