Speaker: Kuimars Pourahmad
Kuimars Pourahmad is a highly acclaimed Iranian film director and music plays a central role in his films.
We will be screening and discussing the following films:
- 'Be khater-e Hanieh' (For Hannah’s Sake, 1994), music by Mohammad Reza Aligholi
- 'Khaharan-e Ghareeb' (Estranged Sisters, 1995), music by Naser Cheshmazar.
Brief introductions to the films, the director and the film composers will supplement the screenings, which will be followed with a live internet Q&A with the director.
