Series: This seminar is jointly presented by the Centre for Mental Health Research and the Joint Institute for Mental Health Nursing, as part of the School of Health Sciences seminar series

This presentation will review the evidence base underpinning patient and public involvement, including its conceptualization, theorization, capture and measurement. The role of PPI in developing impact in relation to the REF will be considered. The future policy vision for PPI in 2025 will be presented, based on the recent 'Going the Extra Mile' NIHR policy review, for which Sophie was Vice-chair.
