Snap fashionAs part of the London Tech Week (20th – 26th June 2016), Cass Business School is delighted to celebrate London as a global powerhouse of tech innovation by inviting a Software engineer turned entrepreneur: Jenny Griffiths, founder of Snap Fashion, the original search engine for fashion.

Invented and developed by Jenny, a 27-year-old Computer Science graduate, Snap Fashion is the brainchild of a very geek-chic CEO. Take a photo of the look you love on your mobile phone and Snap Fashion will give you the tools to be your own stylist!

Axel Threlfall is Reuters Editor-at-Large based in London. He hosts high-profile engagements and thought leadership events for and on behalf of Reuters and Thomson Reuters. He was previously Lead European Anchor for Reuters Digital Video. Prior to joining Reuters, Axel spent four years as an anchor for CNBC in London. Before that, he was an editor with The Wall Street Journal in New York and a news reporter for Bloomberg in London. He has also advised businesses and NGOs on their dealings with the international media.

Jenny Griffiths started devising the algorithms for Snap Fashion whilst studying Computer Science at University in 2009.  Winner of multiple honors and awards, Jenny is passionate about changing the way we search the Internet. Launching her first visual search product in 2012, Jenny loves taking an idea from conception to completion.

Please arrive on time (no later than 6.15pm) as the interview will start at 6.30pm. Afterwards, we are off to a nearby pub to continue the conversation over a few drinks.
