CASS’s FIRST EVER MARKETING INNOVATHON: HOW TO BRING A NEW PRODUCT TO LIFE ON AN E-COMMERCE PLATFORM

Time: Event commences at 17.00 on Friday 29th January until 22:00. Event resumes on Saturday 30th January at 08.30, ending at 7.30pm.
What is the challenge?
To develop a full campaign idea for Colgate-Palmolive to introduce an exciting new-to-the-market product to the UK and bring it to life on an e-commerce platform!
We invite you to apply to join us at Cass from 29th to 30th January for 1.5 days full of marketing ideas, innovation, and hands-on advice from our ‘industry expert’ mentors. With the help from our Cass marketing experts and mentors from Colgate-Palmolive, you will develop a targeted digital campaign for Colgate-Palmolive to support the introduction of a new product and drive sales on an e-commerce platform.
Who is the challenge for?
We are looking for talented, innovative and motivated individuals who want to compete for the chance to develop a campaign idea from scratch, pitch it to the brand team at Colgate-Palmolive, and see it rolled out in the UK!
Whether you are one of our recent alumni, a current MSc, BSc, or MBA student, if you are passionate about marketing, we want to hear from you!
How to secure your place?
Places are limited. Thus, to apply for a place, simply complete the short application form on this site by Monday 18th January.
You will be informed by Monday 20th January if your application has been successful. On that day, you will also receive further background information about the product, target segment, and e-commerce platform.
You will be invited to attend the kick-off briefing session with Colgate-Palmolive on Friday 29th January to meet your team and start working on the marketing challenge!
What happens and when?
Friday: 17.00-22.00 (latest)
Kick-off, introduction to the challenge, meet your team, start working.
Inspiration from keynote presentations, build your campaign, X-Factor audition-style pitches to get initial feedback, prepare your final pitch.
Final pitches, winners are announced, celebratory drinks.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the event.
