Our fourth series of Data Bites talks starts on Wednesday 3rd February. To open our fourth series, Frank Ketelaars, Big Data Technical Lead for Europe at IBM will be joining us as a speaker.
Big Data Analytics at IBM
Big Data Analytics has started to see adoption by many customers across Europe. In this presentation, Frank will discuss a number of customer cases he has been involved in over the past 4 years. He will focus on patterns that have best fit a big data approach, such as 360 degree view of a customer and data warehouse modernization and how these have added significant business value to customers implementing the solutions. Additionally, Frank will cover a few lessons learned and best practices.
Frank Ketelaars is working as part of a European team focused on IBM Big Data solutions, including Hadoop and Real-time Analytical Processing. In his capacity, Frank leads the European technical community and conducts Big Data architecture sessions with customers and business partners across all industries.
Prior to his current role, Frank has fulfilled various national and international assignments, being involved both in pre-sales and consulting assignments focused on application development, data warehousing, database replication and big data.
Frank lives in The Netherlands and has 25 years of experience in the information technology area.
