The Centre for Software Reliability at City will be hosting a seminar showcasing their research on Wednesday 8th of July. The evening will provide a great opportunity for individuals and organisations interested in information security to hear talks from academics from Imperial College and City University London, and the opportunity for networking with other professionals from different industries. Information on our Masters-level and CPD courses on Management of Information Security and Risk, and Cyber Security will also be provided.
Keynote: "The Research Institute in Trustworthy Industrial Control Systems" by Professor Chris Hankin
The talk will review motivation for the creation of this new Research Institute and the key research challenges. We will provide an overview of the activity of the Institute with a specific focus on the results of the work at Imperial College on defensive strategies and combining safety and security.
Followed by a research talk on "Modelling Critical Infrastructures (CIs) Resilience" by Dr Peter Popov (School of Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering)
This event will be of interest to anyone interested in information security, and especially on state-of-art research in resilience and security of critical infrastructures and industrial control systems.
Registration and refreshments will be in the ELG Foyer.
The lecture will take place in ELG01.
