Getting to know you – how to build partnerships in the Creative Industries

Staff, Students

Interested in working with the Cultural and Creative Sectors?

Not sure how to get started or who to talk to?

Join us for this lunch time session to find out more about building partnerships with the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs).

City University, along with 10 other London Universities, is a member of The Culture Capital Exchange (TCCE), an organisation which supports members to achieve collaborative work in areas such as: knowledge exchange; public engagement; and impact, by working with a wide range of partners in the Cultural and Creative Industries in London.

During this lunch time session, Sally Taylor (TCCE Director) and Suzie Leighton (TCCE Director) will share information about the TCCE, its activities and upcoming opportunities to get involved such as their 'Rules of Engagement' series. This series is aimed at academics in all stages in their career to gain best practice in areas such as: public engagement; events management; writing for public audiences; and how to engage with the press.

Attendees will also hear how they can receive support from TCCE in brokering relationships between CCIs and other member Universities and academics. This event will be of particular interest to academics at City wishing to explore collaborations with CCIs and to those wishing to widen their professional network and develop best practice.
