CLAN is our network for female City Law School graduates. The group meets twice-yearly and provides a unique opportunity for you to meet like-minded solicitors, barristers and other law graduates from across the UK.
The network also provides an encouraging environment in which to discuss issues facing women in the modern profession, share experiences and offer mutual support.
Venue: Student Common Room, Gray's Inn Place Campus, 4 Gray's Inn Place, London WC1R 5DX
Format: Presentations on the topic of 'Women's rights and the law' followed by Q&A / discussion
Charlotte Rachael Proudman (BVC 2010), a barrister at 1 Mitre Court Buildings and author with a commitment to human rights, social justice and equality.
Niki Adams from Legal Action for Women, a grassroots anti-sexist, anti-racist legal service for all women based at the Crossroads Women's Centres in London and San Francisco.
Refreshments: Will be provided courtesy of the Alumni Office following the Q&A
