This networking event on the 9 May 2011 will give students, teachers, careers advisers and anyone seeking a career change a chance to talk to people currently working for the EU civil service in a range of jobs, from interpreters and translators to scientists, policy-makers to clerical and secretarial support.
Attendance at the event is free, with required prior registration via the attached form to allow you to receive an individual schedule personalised according to your interests.
You are asked to sign up for either the morning or the afternoon session, and to identify the people you are interested in talking to about their work for the EU. We undertake to try to ensure you see the maximum possible number of people you have requested, but cannot guarantee you will see all 6.
All participants are invited to attend the lunch session, which will be a presentation by the EU Careers agency EPSO on the requirements and process of applying to work for the EU.
Registration closes at midday on 21 April 2011.

9.00 - 10.00 Morning session registration, participants receive personalised timetables
10.00 - 12.00 Morning participants have 20-minute sessions with up to 6 speakers
12.00 Afternoon session registration opens, participants receive personalised timetables
12.30 - 13.30 EPSO presentation on how to apply followed by Q&A
13.30 - 14.00 Afternoon registration
14.00 - 16.00 Afternoon participants have 20-minute sessions with up to 6 speakers
16.00 Event ends.
