Why is getting innovation into organizations so hard? How do some companies seem to be able to openly toss ideas around that in other companies would be tossed out of the window? In this talk, David Straker will present his model of Innovation Maturity and explain how organizations can move towards world class innovative cultures.
David Straker is the author of the www.creatingminds.org website and co-author (with Graham Rawlinson) of How To Invent (Almost) Anything. He has spent many years in private and public, large and small organizations working on change and innovation, for example teaching creativity around the world for HP. He has a degree in engineering, and four postgraduate qualifications, in education, marketing, business and psychology. He is now an independent consultant, publisher and author.
