As a solo recitalist and chamber musician, Annie has performed at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts (Vancouver), the Royal Opera House - Linbury Studio, St. Paul's Church Covent Garden, St. Georges Hanover Square, St. Martin-in-the-Fields and St. James's Piccadilly. Her solo debut recital was broadcast on CBC Radio 2 in Canada, and she has since broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and Portuguese Radio Antena 2.Currently working towards her doctorate at the Guildhall School of Music and the City University, Annie researches the piano trios of Schumann and Brahms. With support from the British Columbia Arts Council and the City University Overseas Research award, she studies piano with Joan Havill and musicological research with Christopher Wiley. Most recently, Annie participated in Angela Hewitt's First International Masterclasses in Perugia, Italy. Annie has also received coaching from such eminent musicians as Leon Fleisher, Dominique Merlet, Jean-Francois Heisser, and Jeremy Siepmann.
She is a prizewinner of the CBC Debut Competition (Canada), Friends of Chamber Music Competition (Canada), Christopher Duke Piano Recital Competition (UK), and Concordia Foundation's Serena Nevill Award (UK).
Annie's festival appearances include the Geneva Music Festival in Switzerland, Gaia International Music Festival in Portugal, Dean and Chadlington Summer Music Festival in Norfolk, and Chelsea Schubert Festival in London. Upcoming appearances in 2011 include Trasimeno Music Festival in Italy.
