We are delighted to invite you to the next in the open seminar series from the Centre for Better Managed Health and Social Care. Dr David Colin-Thomé OBE will speak on the theme of Primary Care reform specifically addressing ideas about integrated care 'The Primary Care Home - does list based general practice in the UK provide a basis for Accountable Care Organisations that can really integrate care?' Following on from his recent BMJ publication 'How to Lose Friends and Alienate People' which analyses the state of the NHS policy reforms in 'the pause' David will deliver a thought provoking and highly topical seminar.
Dr David Colin-Thomé OBE has had a long and highly successful career in General Practice leading high profile innovations, and for many years was National Clinical Director at the Department of Health leading on national policy in primary care. He is now a Director of Hope Street Centre for Health and Social Care Development and Chair of the Big Life Company Health Board, and a Visiting Professor at the Manchester Centre for Health Care Management, Manchester University (since 2002) and Honorary Visiting Professor, School of Health, University of Durham (since 2003).
