Speaker: Emelie Helsen
LOCATION: AG02, College Building, City University London, Northampton Square, EC1V 0HB.
The Association of University Administrators (AUA) promotes professional recognition and development of those who work in professional services roles in higher education.
All AUA members are committed to the continuous development of their own and others' knowledge, skills and practices. The AUA champions equality of educational and professional opportunities with networking and development events throughout the year as well as an annual conference.
One of the activities the AUA offers annually is an international study tour. Emelie Helsen, City's AUA branch co-ordinator, recently took part in a study tour with nine other AUA members in Japan to research Employability and the Graduate Job Market; Internationalisation and the student experience; and Quality Assurance and Enhancement.
Emelie will be sharing her experience with City colleagues and talk about the work of the AUA at a lunch and learn event on Thursday 1st December at 12.30pm in room AG02.
You can read more about the study trip on our blog: http://auajapan2011.blogspot.com.
